Real Madrid – The winners of UEFA Champions League 2022 – A Tough Route to the Glory
UEFA Champions League 2022 final is one of the most-watched football games at club football and fans all around the world have their eyes on the teams in the final every year. The final decides who the champions of Europe would be for a year.
Football fans around the world say they have never seen a tougher route than this of Real’s to the final. Real Madrid was defeated 4 times in 12 UCL matches on their route to the final as compared to their Final rival. Whereas, Liverpool was only defeated 3 times in 63 matches in all competitions throughout the season 2021-22.
Real Madrid’s this year’s European triumph has been full of roller coaster rides built on drama. And unexpected miraculous comebacks – and just eight months earlier everyone criticized them as they were on the verge of getting out of the competition in the early stages but survived later on.
Real were 2-0 behind versus PSG in a round of 16. Then scored three goals in just 17 minutes an incredible comeback to reach the quarter-final.

This was the toughest test for Real Madrid as they were trailing 5-3 against Man City as Rodrygo scored twice in last minutes forced extra-time. Real scored the winner in extra time reaching the final.
Real Madrid vs Liverpool is a repeat of 2018 UCL Final
It was Real Madrid and Liverpool this time on 28th of May 2022 it was the repeat of UEFA Champions League Final 2018. Liverpool in 2018 UCL Final had tasted a miserable 1-3 defeat against Real Madrid and now they were seeking revenge for that previous defeat. But it is never easy against Real Madrid which is known as the biggest European giant. Real Madrid is one of the most experienced and disciplined sides in the competitive league. Winning the most (13 times) in the history of the competition. They were looking to win it for a record-extending 14 times.
The Final Showdown
Liverpool started the game by showing their class as they have one of the most lethal attacks in Europe. The likes of Sadio Mane, Mohammad Salah and inform Luis Diaz.
