Shaheen Shah Afridi a rising star in Pakistan Cricket was born on April 06, 2000, in Khyber Agency. He is a Left-arm fast bowler in the team and He is the brother of Former Pakistani Cricketer Riaz Afridi. He was growing up by watching his Elder brother in the Pakistani Colors. He was just 4 years old when his brother Riaz Afridi made a solitary performance in 2004.
Shaheen Shah Afridi was brought to the Hardball Cricket by his brother Riaz Afridi. Later on, He was selected by FATA for the U16 talent hunt program in the year 2015. His height, fitness, and physical shape earned him a U-16 tour of Australia. After that, he was on the radar of selectors and he was continuously progressing and performing in young squads.
Shaheen Shah Afridi made his debut in Quaid -e- Azam trophy with a unique performance of 8 for 39, which was the best performance by any debutant in the Trophy. Due to all his hard work, He was picked in PSL by the Lahore Qalandars and here he also performed very well by getting five wickets for just four runs and this game earned him a Place in T20I squad of Pakistan against West Indies.
Just after the third match of the T20I series against the West Indies He also announced his Debut in the ODI squad of Pakistan in Asia Cup, where he replaces Mohammad Amir in the Team. At that very young age of 19, he also got selected for the Test squad of Pakistan Cricket.
He has a great advantage of his height which is 6ft 6in, as he can bounce the ball very well, and with that, he also Places so many good Yorkers.
Till now He has played 24 test matches in which he got 95 wickets and his best figures in tests are 10 for 94. He played 30 ODI matches and here he got 59 wickets and his best figures in the format are 6 for 39 runs, With that, he played 40 T20I matches, and here he got 47 wickets with the best figure of 3 for 20 runs.
This is not the end of his career; it is just the beginning as he will continue to rise in the Pakistani Colors.
