Shahzada TV | Sports Desk | Moeen Ali has put his fans and franchise owners in confusion by agreeing to play in two leagues simultaneously. The English all-rounder has already agreed to play for the Johannesburg team owned by Chennai Super Kings in CSA League. Whereas, yesterday the news of his joining Sharjah Warriors went viral. It is very mysterious to know for which team Ali will play. As both leagues are going to take place at the same time.
On hearing that Moeen has signed to play in ILT20, Kasi Viswanathan, CSK owner was astonished. He showed a willingness to inquire with him.
The Capri team showed a very satisfactory response towards the composition of the squad. They further elaborated that it was a very tough task to find players in a situation when top teams in IPL are also searching for players. They are always the first choice of the players as they serve as a passport toward IPL for the players. Hence, in spite of having a chance to play for those teams. It is amazing that the all-rounders like Moeen, Nabi, and Woakes have chosen ILT20.
Besides these, Sridhar, coach of Sharjah Warriors, was happy that the inclusion of Afghan players is going to be extremely helpful. Players including Naveen-ul-Haq, Noor Ahmed, and others understand the requirements of pitches in UAE very well. Hence, it will provide comparatively more chances to our team.
Moeen Ali’s decision seems controversial at this time
The League consists of two teams Sharjah Warriors and Dubai Capitals and will commence in January 2023. The latter team is a branch of the IPL franchise, Delhi Capitals. Kiran Kumar said that it was high time to expand their popularity in this format. Moreover, it will be fun for the spectators as the teams include players from all parts of the world. It is going to be very mysterious and controversial as Moeen Ali has agreed to play in two leagues which will take place at the same time.
