Pakistan’s fast guns including Shaheen Shah Afridi and Hassan Ali would likely miss the latest round of County Championship. The latest round will also be played without the presence of Pakistan’s veteran wicket-keeper batsman Muhammad Rizwan and M. Amir would also likely be on the list to miss out on being in the playing eleven for Gloucestershire.
Meanwhile, viewers can watch Zafar Gohar (who would replace M. Amir) and Haris Rauf (returning from injury) who are expected to be featured on their respective sides.
Shaheen Shah Afridi has been rested as he has played three consecutive games for Middlesex and they are already at the top of the table. So Middlesex county club is probably saving his energies for their fixture against Nottinghamshire at Lord.
On the other hand, Hassan Ali has also been rested, because Lancashire also playing with the player’s rotation strategy. They might bring Saqib Mehmood in as a replacement for Hassan Ali. Hassan Ali right at the time is the leading wicket-taker of County Div 1 as he has 24 wickets on his name in 8 innings with an average of 18.50. While Muhammad Abbas just two wickets short in the list stands second.
Pakistan’s veteran wicket-keeper batsman Muhammad Rizwan will also miss the latest round of the County Championship because he is unavailable due to a family bereavement (one of the members of his family has died). Sussex (his county cricket club) has sent best wishes and prayers to Muhammad Rizwan and his family at this difficult time.

Muhammad Amir has issues with a tight hamstring and he would also likely miss the roundup against Somerset. As a result, chances are there that Gloucestershire would bring Zafar Gohar in as the right replacement.
Haris Rauf who did not bowl in the second innings of his most recent game and missed Yorkshire’s draw against Essex last week but has been named in a 12-man squad for the Roses match against Lancashire which starts on Thursday. Lancashire has also named Saqib Mehmood and James Anderson in the absence of Hassan Ali as part of their player rotation strategy. So, in this round, Pakistan cricket fans would possibly watch Shan Masood, Azhar Ali, Muhammad Abbas, Zafar Gohar, and Haris Rauf playing for their respective sides in the recent round of the County Championship.
