Cristiano Ronaldo is a professional Portuguese football player born on the 5th of February 1985 in Funchal, Portugal. Jose Dinis Aveiro and Maria Dolores are the names of Ronaldo’s parents.
Ronaldo had always been passionate about football. He was even expelled from his school when he threw a chair at the age of 14. He started to put his all attention on becoming a professional football player.
Cristiano Ronaldo joined the club Nacional located in his hometown of Madeira in the year 1995. After that, he passed a trial and joined Portugal’s giant club Sporting CP. Where he played in almost all competitions. He also played against Manchester United in the UEFA Champions league in 2003.
On the occasion of that match against Manchester United. Sir Alex Ferguson, Man United’s coach, was impressed by his performance which influenced him to bring Cristiano Ronaldo to his club in the same year.
International debut for Cristiano Ronaldo
He also made his international debut for Portugal in 2003. While playing for his new club, Cristiano scored 118 goals providing 43 assists in 292 games.
In FIFA World Cup 2006, Cristiano Ronaldo played a key role in the Portuguese national team reaching the semifinal of the tournament. He was also named a captain of the team in the following year.
In 2009 he joined Real Madrid and won 4 UCL titles, 2 la LIGA titles, and 4 Ballondors won UEFA Euro and UEFA nations league for his national team. Then joined Juventus and now plays for the same Manchester United.
He also represented his national team in four FIFA world cups and has scored 115 goals in international football most by any player in the history of the game having scored the most goals 817 and continues to add more is the highest in the history of the game. He has also won numerous individual awards 5 ballon dors 4 European golden shoes and now, after all, he is done so far he is considered among the greatest of all times.
