Mohammad Babar Azam is usually known as Babar Azam. The most famous Pakistani cricketer was Born on October 15, 1994, in Lahore, Punjab Pakistan. He plays as a batter for Pakistan and by style, he is a right-handed batsman. With that, he is also focusing on being a Right-arm Offbreak Bowler.
Babar Azam started his First-class career in 2010 by playing for Zarai Taraqiati Bank Limited against National Bank Limited on December 10, 2010. It was his debut match in Quaid e Azam trophy and he scored 54 runs for 114 balls. In his First-Class career, he performed very well. Later on, he got selected in Under 19 world cups of 2010 and 2012 respectively and he ended these World cups as a top run-scorer for Pakistan.
Due to his hard work and consistent performance in under 19 cups he got selected for Men National side. In May 2015 He announced his ODI debut in Home Series against Zimbabwe. In the third match of the series, he scored 54 runs off 60 balls. Later on, he also got selected in test cricket against Srilanka in an away series but unfortunately, he did not get a chance to play the game. He made his test debut for Pakistan against West Indies in Dubai in 2016. Due to his good performances in both formats he also got selected for T20I Format and he announced his T20I debut against England in 2016.
Till now he played 40 Test Matches, 71 innings in which he scored 2851 runs and his highest score in Test is 196 runs. He played 86 ODI matches, 84 innings in which he scored 4261 runs and 158 is his highest ODI score. He Played 74 T20I matches in 69 innings in which he scored 2686 runs and 122 is his highest T20i score.
Babar Azam in his overall international career till now (at the time of writing this article) scored 23 centuries of which 6 in Test cricket 16 in ODI cricket and 1 in T20I cricket. And he also scored fifties in numbers 21,18,26 respectively. Babar Azam in his career broke so many records and due to all his outstanding performances he became the captain of Pakistan team in all formats and he is the only player who remains in the top 5 in all formats in ICC rankings. Due to all his achievements and hard word work he proved himself as a Superman of Pakistan Cricket team.
