Brett Lee praises dignified in-swing yorkers by Waqar Younis

Waqar Younis has been praised many times in the past but his reputation is still high at its peak. Former Australian fast bowler Brett Lee has not forgotten the reputation of the national cricket team’s reverse swing specialist Waqar Younis.

Addressing the first Eid Milan party celebrated for the first time at all cricket grounds, Australian legend fast bowler Brett Lee said that Pakistan fast bowler Waqar Younis, who was quick to bring the ball in, was a tremendous feat.

He said that for the right-handed, the prestigious Waqar Younis’ reverse swing-yorker was dangerous, though no batter had the chance to understand him.

Former national bowler Waqar Younis, representing the national cricket team, played 87 Tests and 262 ODIs, representing 373 and 416 wickets respectively. On the other hand, many cricket legends have praised the legend Waqar Younis among them former Sri Lankan fast bowler Lasith Malinga also  expressed his feelings that he learned to bowl  yorkers after watching Wasim and Waqar in his struggling days he further added that addressing the press conference in Colombo that;

Wasim Akram and Waqar Younis, two of Pakistan’s greatest pace bowlers are my mentors and I have learned many technical things from these two legends, He also said that their lethal arsenal of yorkers had inspired me a lot. He further said that these two legends have many record-breaking innings. Many newcomers have been praised to copy the legendary Waqar Younis among them

Irfan Pathan, an India great, recalls seeing the newly emerging Indian fast bowler in the Jammu and Kashmir team camp before the match against Punjab Kings. Irfan remarked on Star Sports ahead of the PBKS match that Umran Malik reminded him of Pakistan pace legend Waqar Younis, he further expressed that Umran Malik has efficient techniques like Waqar Younis.
